A little over a month ago, I had a session with this baby girl for her one year photos.  Karra was one of the first newborns I had ever photographed, (back when I was just practicing and having fun with my friends ;) ).  Now look at her all big, standing and walking - and those teeth...adorable!

Jackson had a cold last week that kept him home from school.  By Thursday he was feeling better, so we decided to venture out...to the hardware store.  I honestly know few places that are more appealing to a four year old boy, than a place filled with tools!  I let him wonder the store, and soak in all the "stuff" that interested him.  He even enjoyed a first - buying his first item all by himself, (a bottle of water - that's all he asked for). :)  He could have spent the entire day there!

Winter is well underway here in Minnesota, but up until a few weeks ago, we had only had one good snowfall for the season.  Needless to say, when a brief snowfall came through bringing with it huge flakes, I had to get Jackson outside to enjoy it - and enjoy it, he did!

I followed my youngest around for about 20 minutes to capture some of those silly, carefree moments that a 14 month old can have in a given day.  I love this age, where their personality really starts to shine through.  His curiosity and exploration sure keep me on my toes!
